The Healing Place Charity Championship

This annual golf tournament, hosted by Florence native and PGA TOUR standout Stewart Cink, will be played on Monday, June 4th, 2012 at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club in Killen, AL.  As in previous years, participants will compete in a traditional "Pro-Am" style format.  The popular Pairings Party and Auction will take place on Sunday, June 3rd at Turtle Point, featuring some exciting auction items and entertainment by the Yacht Rock Revue.

Over the past 9 years, The Healing Place Charity Championship has raised over $1,000,000 for The Healing Place and its programs.  The Healing Place is a non-profit facility located in Muscle Shoals, AL that provides on-going education and support programs for grieving children, adolescents and their families/caregivers.  The Healing Place's mission is to make a difference in the lives of children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one and offers its services to the community free of charge.
